B E S T Grilled Chicken Marinade
Grilling Season is upon us and it's time to start cranking out some bomb.com marinades.
First one up...CHICKEN.
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (pounded to 1/2" thickness)
6 TBS extra virgin olive oil
4 large garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp dried thyme (I sub'd marjoram, but you can sub w/ basil or savory)
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1-1/4 tsp salt (I used garlic salt)
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1-1/2 tsp lemon zest from 1 lemon (I sub'd an orange)
1 gallon sized ziplog bag
1 grill

Directions:
Leave chicken in the marinade bag & refrigerate a few hours
Season your grill by cleaning it and oiling up the grates
Preheat grill to high heat 600F (I love me some grill marks)
Make sure chicken is coated in the marinade (herbs, oil, & zest)
Place on grill & close lid

Do NOT overcook the chicken
