Zoodles
Zoodles are Zucchini noodles.
One of many vegetable noodle recipes that are a great substitute for carb-heavy pasta.
They're clean for the diet and super easy to make!
I used about 5 fresh zucchini. Cut off the ends of all of them. Then cut in half.
Next, I inserted each zucchini half into my Veggetti Pro Spiralizer using the thick spiral blade.
Make sure the Veggetti suction is locked down to the counter!
Slide the zucchini all the way to the blade and have your helper spin the crank.
See how the zoodles fill up the bowl?
Some pieces will get stuck in the blade.
Carefully pull the zoodles out of blade.
Do this until the Zucchini is out of zoodles and toss the leftover piece left on the blade.
To cook these,
Option 1--
Use a large deep skillet.
Add 1 TBS of olive oil and heat over medium heat.
Sautee the zoodles for 3-5 min until al dente. Don't overcook because they'll get soggy.
Option 2--
Turn broiler on in oven and set to hi.
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
Dump your zoodles on it.
Drizzle with garlic salt and olive oil.
Use hands to make sure all zoodles are covered in salt and oil.
Broil for 15 min.
