The Honesty of Children
I love the blunt honesty of children.
B to mom: "Bye, gramma! Be careful! Love you! Bye!
B to me: ..."I really worry about her (my mom). She's a terrible driver."
B to mom: "Be careful, gramma!"
B to mom while driving to my house:
B: "My butt hurts"
Mom: Why?
B: From sitting here while you drive so slow!
B in the bathroom with me
Mom, I can't stand here with you anymore because your butt really stinks when you poop.
B when he wants to end a conversation
B: I'm really tired
Me: why?
B: Talking to you makes me tired
B when he has to poop, but continues to avoid it
Mom, I can't stop farting and my tummy hurts.
