Nasoya Pasta Zero Review

I swapped out rice noodles in my basic shrimp pho recipe and used the Nasoya Pasta Zero Noodles. The size and texture of the noodles seemed like it would be quite similar.
They absorbed the juice of the broth quite well.
However, the texture of the noodles was too different for me.
Rice noodles tend to be chewy, but still hold the basic noodle texture that allows them to dissolve in your mouth.
The Nasoya noodles did not dissolve quite as easily.
In fact, they had a rather rubber texture.
I let my niece try them to see what she thought.
She's rather blunt being a 10 year old.
She tried one noodle and spit it out because it tasted like "rubber" or "plastic."
I ended up eating around the noodles and only finishing the vegetables and shrimp.
Maybe pho wasn't the best choice to try with these noodles, but I'm willing to try these in other recipes to see if the rubbery texture is different in dry meals as opposed to soups.
