Coconut Almond Curry:
A savory, sweet mix of soft-baked granola, coconut, whole almonds and cashews, blended together with the spicy zang of Eastern curry is outta this world!
Sea Salt Caramel Apple:
This yummy granola pairs the sweetness of caramel with the tart and tanginess of an apple, all topped with savory sea salt for a truly incredible and unforgettable flavor.
--My Reactions--
Sea Salt Caramel Apple:
This by far is THE best granola I've ever tasted. The dried slices of apple paired wonderfully with the caramel chunks and granola. One of my co-workers offered me some of his granola that his wife made him. It was NOTHING compared to the Bear Naked brand. I gave him some of mine and his eyes lit up. He said "Holy cow! That's delicious. It makes my granola taste generic. I can't believe you got that for free!" Once he walked out of eye sight, I dumped the rest of the bag directly into my mouth. It was simply TOO good to just eat delicately. The granola was seasoned to perfection and wasn't too crunchy or too chewy. Seriously, ever morsel of granola from this bag was delightful and tasted like a hug from the Lord.
Coconut Almond Curry:
I got the same co-worker who tried the Caramel Apple flavor to try the Curry flavor with me. I opened the bag and poured some into my hand and dumped it into my mouth. Then, poured some into his. He did the same thing; he dumped it directly into his mouth. Our facial reactions were very sad. Our eyes grew huge, a large frown spread across our face, and we jolted to the trash can to spit it out. The curry was overwhelming. I've never had curry, but I'm assuming its a delicacy in the Middle East. To me; however, it was not. I tried just picking out the pieces of coconut and almond chunks to get the flavor out of my mouth, but to no avail, it didn't work. I ended up tossing the bag. I'm not sure if the flavor was too overwhelming because my palate is not refined to such a taste or what, but I could simply not handle it. I equate the mouth full of curry flavored granola to dumping a mouth full of Wasabi into your mouth for the first time. The smell and taste fumigates your nostrils and taste buds leaving your eyes to water and mouth to pucker. This definitely was the lesser of the two bags of granola.
--FLAVORite Granola Award Goes To...--
Hands down, the winner of this definitely goes to the Sea Salt Caramel Apple flavor. If they sell these by the gallon in Sam's Club, I will be there front and center to buy every tub.
